On the trail of Busker Kim
http://lunamoth1.blogspot.com
Just to be clear: I have vivid memories of Kim Gordon who was in his early thirties when I met him and almost seemed like a clone of Mick Jagger. Not to mention how he appeared as if on a blast of Highland magic, almost in answer to my wish to meet the “ghost of Bonnie Prince Charlie.” It all seemed quite innocent, just one of those mystical adventures I seem to be prone to whenever I'm in Scotland.
Did I sense anything evil or predatory about Kim? Not really- but I was aware that the balance of power seemed to favour me as I was considerably older. Otherwise I would have been more wary of this pixie-like figure out of Peter Pan. That's how he struck me - a creature of the air, not a Wolfman. And it turned out he had an underage girl in the late stages of pregnancy— but I only found that out when he dropped me off in the center of town.
It occurred to me at the time that his future looked dim unless he managed to gain control of his sex drive. Apart from his borderline traits, he was the sort of person who can have sex without touching. I thought he could benefit from a little teaching --thats why I proposed that he drive me up to Skye but he turned down my offer. Heidi - I think that was her name - was expecting any day.
Okay, I said. Another busker I met warned me to stay away from Kim: “he's dangerous.” And indeed he was.
He had many of the traits I would now associate with someone who grew up inside a cult- there are plenty of those in Scotland. They can be charming, these practitioners of Celtic Magick with a K — but it seems his inner Wolf took possession of him. He looks thoroughly ravaged in the photos but then he's sixty now. He came to a bad end, you could say. Why did I think, in 1997, he was worth saving? Or did I recognize a fellow multiple and ritual abuse victim? I don't know.
But it turns out convicted rapist Kim Gordon, whom I wrote about in 2021, used to go by the name "Cameron MacGregor" back when he was a punk in Bury St Edmunds, singing with a band called Cult of the Head.
Does it all go back to Sumeria, and the Bull-Headed Cult of Moloch?
