This is a private blog

This is where I do my thinking out loud. It has nothing to do with the London music scene. Or Chicago blues. Or Camille's dad whom I had never heard of until recently. It is entirely about my life growing up in the shadow of the Allan Memorial Institute in Montreal in the 1950s, 60s and 70s. And meeting Leonard Cohen in 1977, after a failed trip to New York to meet Mick Jagger. And slowly learning the inner workings of the mind control program that operates inside the entertainment world, by living next door to one of its most famous operatives, a master hypnotist, assassin and MK programmer. And how all this ties together with the alleged Zionist plan to engineer a "Holocaust of the Gentiles" in our lifetime. And how this needs to be stopped.

I know.very little about your father but now that I read more about him I realize he was a very creative
musician who inspired many famous names in its music business. But he was born in 1928, 26 years later than my father - who knew Maynard Ferguson as a young man in Montreal during the war. My cousins grew up in Chicago during the.1960s and loved the music scene there. You have every right to be very proud of both your parents. I see you grew up between two continents and were deeply affected by their divorce. I also am the.child of a mixed marriage but ny parents stayed together despite their differences. My dad was a country boy, my mother spoke French and came from the provincial elite. We are both orphans under the skin. The British Invasion wiped out a thriving regional music scene in many places.

I've been saying the same thing since 2020.

  6. In 1990, I collaborated with my friend and mentor, composer William Russo, on an opera called "The Sacrifice," based on Euripides' tragedy "Iphigenia in Aulis." Set on the eve of the Trojan War, the story focuses on the Greek king Agamemnon's murder of his virgin daughter, Iphigenia, as a sacrifice to the gods to win their blessing on his planned invasion of Troy. The production, directed by former Steppenwolf Theatre Company artistic director HE Baccus, premiered in May of 1990 at the Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department's Getz Theatre Center. People asked Bill and me why we were writing an antiwar opera in 1990, when the U.S. was not at war. A year later, along came the Gulf War.

The finale of Act I has Agamemnon's brother Menelaus singing:

"In war, many children must die
    Many parents must cry
But the song that we sing
    Is a victory song . . .
A hero's life is brief but glorious
Everlasting fame is his when he's victorious . . ."

  8. Dear Camille
FYI - I just managed to open your long, never-mailed letter to me which for some reason you posted on X yesterday. Just now - I'm not sure how - I clicked and was able to open and read past the front page all the way through to the end. So now at least I understand what you meant about my "insulting your father and stepfather" -- a reference to a comment I made, weeks ago, on my Facebook page The British Invasion which you also blocked, and which I forgot about since you never corrected or offered any explanation as to why your dad and you at age 12 got "briefed" about the Beatles and Stones in 1963.

It would have made a lot more sense just to email me your letter but instead you've also held a grudge about another casual remark I made back in 2022 about ALO and Trad Jazz. All you needed to do was correct the record 3 years ago - so the conversation could move on. But you retreated into silence which I guess is your survival tactic as the fragile daughter of two divorced parents who used to be famous, just not as famous as the Beatles.

Your elaborate system of posting and blocking on X accomplishes nothing but create a twisted labyrinth of mirrors to deflect communication and inflame your rage which I would suggest was never about me but your father. I'm just a bystander and handy target for your unprocessed PTSD

  9. Here is Jasun Horsley's email response to you from August 18, 2022, in which he also cc'ed Dianne Lawrence and (!!) Michael Posner

I havent been defending Anne (she's quite capable of defending herself) but nor have I been supporting you, Camille, in your suspicions and fears (besides responding civilly and with some interest). That you cant discern the difference suggest you are in full "attack" mode and that this is personal unconscious stuff getting stirred up. I'm not your father and it;s not my job to rescue you or Ann or anyone else.

Anne's the only player in this current mini-drama that I know personally, having spoken to her many times and met her once in person. While I have found some of her claims to be unsubstantiated, or unsubstantiable, and too "woo" for me, I have found her both likeable and credible as an individual, and this is good enough for me at my current level of (non)involvement.

As for Cohen, my work speaks for itself. People who "knew him for 30 years" and want to defend him don't carry much weight for me, because anyone who knew him that long and didn't see any of the evidence I have presented in my work that he was as dirty as Epstein's underwear are either lying or simply too out of the loop to have much insight besides character evaluation, which is notoriously subjective (no offence intended to Diane). Cohen's being "kind & generous," etc, some of the time has absolutely nothing to do with it, as evidence, as I address in 16 Maps of Hell. I am willing to send a PDF of that work, including the chapter that draws on Ann's testimony, to anyone who wants it, and respond to direct questions or criticism about that, as its author; but that's as far as my interest goes in this tangle.

Beyond that this seems like a personal struggle between Ann & Camille that I am being asked to referee. You need to sort it out yourselves.

LATER THAT DAY HE WROTE ME PRIVATELY:
thanks for checking in; needless to say after that last harangue I find your version the more credible

    Camille has blown hot & cold with me often over the years, from attack mode to apologies and praise; I put it down to her being emotionally unstable and too-Christian in the wrong way;

the Lawrence woman just posted at our first podcast, I let one comment through but not the second, which was slightly more attacking.

  10. Who is Camille Davis Russo? Someone asked me that just now. I know her as the woman I texted back and forth with in 2019 after finding her unpublished Rolling Stones article online. I liked it so much I recommended her to Jasun Horsley who interviewed her on his podcast. Then for a while she disappeared from my life but came roaring back in 2022 when she began emailing me...

TBH I havent spent much time getting to know her, or researching her famous father. Or the London jazz world. Or the blues scene in Chicago where she apparently was a "liaison" with British rock royalty. Whatever that means.

    1. Part of the problem is, I never liked Led Zeppelin or Robert Plant. In fact I hated his voice and their music. Whole Lotta Love and Stairway to Heaven both made me nauseated when I heard them on the radio. I cant imagine becoming infatuated with Plant let alone joining his entourage. I have no idea what happened to Camille during that period of her life but her conversion to Christian fundamentalism looks like a personal backlash against a Satanism she was groomed for and experienced first hand via her father's involvement. I really know nothing about her life but the signs show up in her photos as butterflies, mirrors, doorways. Goddess imagery. A picture emerges of an abused child and young woman who was trafficked to rock stars.

    2. Why she latched onto me and got involved with Ellen Atkin- is another rabbit hole I'd rather not enter. But since she shows no sign of stopping i might have to.

  11. One thing: Camille believes she is important enough that someone would.want to "steal her story" - whatever it is. She's certainly not telling it. Maybe what she really craves is a ghost writer/therapist who will do the heavy work of sorting fact from fiction...

  13. Where did Camille get the idea she is my "rival"? Did Ellen Atkin implant this notion, like the idea, that I have been "brawling online" and "stalking" Ellen's sister? This is crazy make- believe wishful thinking -- but what's behind it?

What does it say about Camille that she was the "liaison" between the Chicago blues scene and British rock royalty in 1973?

I was nott a "liaison"" - that's for sure. My dad didnt pimp me to his colleagues. When Mick showed up at our house in 1965 I blew.him out the door.

When the Stones played the Montreal Forum in 1972 some joker set off a bomb in their equipment truck.

Where I come from, we don't "liaise" with British Royalty -

We're not f'ing stamp collectors either.

There's nothing to talk about, Camille. The band played on and gou got played. You're not my "rival" and never were. You're just a pawn on some Chessboard
